Privacy

Short version: there's no account here, no sign-up form and nothing to fill in except an amount, so there's very little about you for this site to hold.

Things we never see

No names, no email addresses, no wallet addresses, no phone numbers. There is no registration, no contact form and no comment section. The amount you type into the converter stays in your browser and is used to build the link you click — it isn't sent to us or stored anywhere.

This site runs Google Analytics to count page views and see which pages get read. It sets two first-party cookies, _ga and _ga_5KE7GRHQ9C, which tell one browser from another, and reports aggregate figures: page views, rough country, device type. It never receives what you typed into the converter, and we don’t sell or share the data.

Nothing else is written to local storage, so closing the tab leaves nothing else behind on your machine. Because there's no account and no stored record of a visit, there's also nothing for you to request a copy of or ask us to erase.

Requests your browser makes

Loading a page here pulls in two things from outside. Web fonts come from Google Fonts, and current prices come from a public market data API. Both requests carry the usual technical details any web request carries, including your IP address, and both providers handle that under their own privacy policies rather than ours.

If either request fails, the page still works. The prices written into the HTML stay on screen and the fonts fall back to whatever your system provides.

Request logs

The hosting provider that serves these files keeps ordinary access logs — IP address, timestamp, the page requested, browser user agent. That's standard for any web host and we use it only to see whether the site is up and being read.

Links that leave this site

When you click through to the exchange service, you leave this site. The link carries campaign parameters that tell the service the visit came from here. It carries nothing about you personally. From that point on you're on their site, under their privacy policy, and anything you enter there is between you and them.

Under 18

This site isn't aimed at anyone under 18 and we don't knowingly gather information from children.

When this changes

If what the site does changes, this page changes with it. The version published here is the one that applies.
